Hello, Are any of you experience seriously extended short sale negotiations with their FHA short sales?  I have a few that seem to be dragging on, and most seem to be requiring HUD variances for various reasons.  One in particular is a BOA file. The third party is Stewart, and they are horrible.  I have contacted BOA to try and see if they can escalate, but to no avail.  They keep saying Stewart is handling this file and there's nothing they can do.  Trying to reach a manager of some sort with Stewart is futile at best!  Any suggestions to get things moving, with this file and any and all FHA files??  Thank you in advance for your time!

  • Open a case with HUD to expedite variance requests. 

    We have a HUD contact who we just email and typically we can have variances such as extending the ATP or value approved within 24-48 hours.
