Hello, I have a client that will need to relocate out of the area to stay employed. They have a BofA FHA loan and currently haven't missed a payment. I'm looking at the BofA FHA Short Sale Request form and it says "If you have the ability to make your mortgage payment, you are ineligible for the FHA Short Sale Program". Has anyone completed an FHA short sale due to job relocation? Do you know of a contact person at BofA in the FHA short sale department? Thanks!

Hi Merilee. They may be able to make it now but will they be able to make it once they move and have the added expenses? job transfer should easily qualify as an involuntary hardship.
