Wendy, PNC handles E*Trade but it is really a division of PNC called CLC. Even though the folks I talked with were with CLC they had PNC email. This created a problem with the title company as Wells Fargo's short sale approval letter gave ETrade as the second but the short sale approval letter from the second was issued by PNC/CLC. It made my head hurt! It was all resolved. I found the people helpful enough but they do come on strong for their money.

Ann - Great, thank you for the info! Do you have CLC contact info, or I can google.

CLC is the same as PNC. The short sale dept is 855-245-3812
My client also had contacts - their number was 1-800-878-0027 x27534 but these are more the client service people who work with the borrower. However, I talked with them and they were helpful.
They would not begin work on the second loan until the first had been approved.

Ann - Thank you again! With that I may also contact a good PNC negotiator I've worked with!
Is it owned by PNC or NCO financial? The one I am negotiating with is with a collection agency, NCO, after 4 months and many different negotiators, I was able to get approval, but mine was a second. PLease let me know if want any of my phone numbers for these people.

It is late and the phone numbers are in my office. I found these folks to be fairly nice but the buyer did have to come up with additional money as E*Trade dug in their feet. E*Trade was the 2nd lien.
