  • Update to all: Bank of America's official response is they do not accept electronic signatures YET, but are reviewing its implementation.
  • I can remember specifically 2 that were FHA short sales through Wells Fargo.  The one Wells Fargo rep said "we" do not accept electronic signatures.  I assumed they meant Well Fargo but maybe she meant HUD
  • OK, I am emailing her now!

  • Good point, Jeff.  I can email her for an "official" answer.  Or just do it and see what happens... :)
  • Wendy, perhaps we should contact Kim Dawson at Bank of America to see what she says about it.  I am sure she has already read this blog but it wouldn't hurt to get her official opinion.

  • I am using SureDocs by Alamode (have also used Docusing during the free trial) and had no problems with Suntrust, Wells Fargo and 5/3 bank.
    • I've never gotten either to accept my Docusign docs.

  • Thomas - So far, I've submitted a contract to Bank of America with e-signatures.  That was about a week ago.  They haven't complained yet....  Also, Wells Fargo told me they would allow it.  I am about to send in a couple of contracts to HAP (Military PCS), too.  I'll let you know.
  • Wendy, I have yet to do one short sale (amongst a number of Investors and Servicers) that will allow Docusign and electronic signatures.  Please let me know if you have any luck.  I know FHA short sales will not allow that.
