Discharged bankruptcy and just starting a short sale

I have a client that just got her bankruptcy discharged and just requested to do a short sale. I am wondering how I start a short sale? I read that I need authorization from the courts to do so but how do you go about requesting that clearance? What do you say in the letter? Do you send the letter to the trustee to send to the court or send it to the court myself?

    Get a letter from the attorney that did the bankruptcy stating that your client is not in bankruptcy also send your letter and the entire Shortsale package to their legal department at the bank. The regular short sale department won't touch it. When you get an offer send it to the legal department. FYI. Davey Parker

    Tom,

            Who is the servicer on the loan? Submit a short sale package to the servicer and a copy of the BK discharge paperwork.
