Chase Changing Servicer

Submitted offer and all docs in July, File is currently stuck in MI Dept at Chase. Trying to get to someone that can get this out of MI, the Rep at Chase said the servicer will be released and a new one assigned by Dec 1st and the new servicer does NOT participate in HAFA?

Can anyone give us some guidence to get this going? I've been told if it's released to another servicer we'd have to start completely over?

    If we get the approval prior to Dec 1, could we still get this through? Of should we pretty much plan on starting over.

    And yes you will have to probably start all over again - usually Ocwen will give a different loan no.

    New servicer will be Ocwen starting Dec 1st.  Was to be Nov 1st - but was pushed back.
