Chase as Jr Lien and only one short sale

Have a Heloc Chase that we submitted for short sale. They cannot find any record of it. 2 years ago seller accepted a $0 payoff from the recovery department and sent them a letter of acceptance but never got a reconveyance. title nor short sale department cannot find this loan in their system. Seller tried to call a chase number but disconnected. Is there a number I can use to call them with the seller?

    You should speak with the recovery Dept and go from there, even if the loan was forgiven, or possibly even sold they should have record of it and should be able to locate the loan in their system with either the borrowers social, property address, or loan number. Have you tried speaking with a manager yet?

    I assume you checked the county records for a satisfaction/reconveyance?

    I'd be opening a case with the executive office in order to get an analyst assigned for assistance into this matter. Have you spoken to any managers in the Chase Recovery Department?
