Can a FLORIDA Short Sale be closed AFTER a bankruptcy is finalized?

Can a FLORIDA Short Sale be closed AFTER a bankruptcy is finalized?

We are trying to close by 15Feb18 and Sellers have

their final meeting with the BK Trustee/Judge 31Jan18

The banks are are saying yes but the Closing

Attorney is saying that the 9 liens must be removed

from the BK by the BK Judge/Court/Trustee before we can close???

Has anyone ever had a situation like this?

Sellers filed BK on their own due to financial problems

so NO they cannot afford an Attorney!!

Any info you can provide would be helpful!!

Thanks!!

You need the liens addressed in some manner prior to closing.

Brett would you be so kind as to expound on your reply as we are SO in need of help from someone as knowledgeable as you .... please??
HOW and WHAT do we do as far as "addressing" the liens .... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

He means that you're

going to have to negotiate something with them to make them go away. Sometimes after a bk they will release the lien other times they want some sort of settlement. There is a form that can be filed during a bk that would have taken care of it but since that wasn't done your gonna have to do it the old-fashioned way
