I just spoke to a mortgage rep who wasn't sure but thought we might have to buy down after a short sale due to relocation. FHA allows us to purchase again without the waiting period because we have kept our payments on time. Does anyone know if we have to buy a lesser priced house? Has anyone short saled after purchasing their new house if they qualify to hold the double mortgage based on dti ratio?
