bofa short sale - approved letter expired and no word on the extension request yet

Hello All, any advise would be very appreciated!

After long 8 months (I'm the buyer) I finally was provided an approved letter from bofa on the short sale property which had two loans on it. Among other things, it had a  45 days condition to close on Dec 9th/2011.  After working with the lender the appraisal came back 5K (@$235K) which was lower than their BPO (@$240K).  A price adjustment request was submitted at equator and a week after around Nov 30th an extension was requested hoping that by Dec 9th the day of the approval expiration we would have heard back from bofa, but so far no word from them.  Listing agent keeps telling me that they have not replied to his emails/equator messages/calls.  Can someone please advise.  Now it's been over 9.5 months waiting and do not want to keep wasting my time.

Many thanks for your help!

Julio, I would suggest going to twitter and asking BofA for help. it really works

Thanks Jeff, let me give this a try hopefully I get a response from them.

This may sound like a stupid question but on Twitter where do you direct your message they have quite a few accounts (one which is help which seems like the obviuos one). Is there an account dedicated to short sale help?  I have a small deal which is approved with the coop propgram and the only counter I had was the settlemet date because they are requesting a settlement date after the sheriff sale date and I had to change in Equator and  the proposed settlement date to avoid the sale which this still have yet to postpone.

Thanks Brian. Since the approval date has expired do you know how long it might take for them to get back to me? Would it be weeks/months, I just feel in limbo right now given the the letter expired and still have gotten no response from BofA about approving the extension requested  about  2 weeks prior to expiration.  My concern is that after waiting this long, the process will need to start all over again given that the letter expired :(
