BofA countered, and counter was accepted. But where is the approval?

We submitted the offer on December 6th, December 27th got the counter from BofA. Counter accepted same day. There is only one lien holder on the property so how long more do I have to wait to get the approval?

Moe,

If the counter was accepted the file still needs to be submitted for approval to either upper management or the investor. You need to confirm that this was submitted for final review. If the file was submitted for final review, you should be receiving an approval shortly. Some investors such as Freddie Mac often take longer in the final review stage than others.

It depends. Once you accept a counter in equator the file still has to go to the investor for final approval. Could take days could take weeks. But it sounds like you are heading in the right direction.

I have a HAFA going on 8 wks but the BOA negotiator assures me that any day now we will get the final approval.....
