I am working a short shale that was a Bank of America loan. In the middle of the process the loan was sold to M&T Bank and we had to start over with the new owner of the loan, a month wasted. Now we are being handled by Bayview Loan Servicing, and in my most recent conversation with someone who appeared to have some authority, I was emphatically promised a call-back "next week", the week ending Feb 3. So far nothing from the agent promising that call back and lots of deflection when I call in. Most recently, an agent answering the phone sent a message to the agent I named and she referred the call to Juan (??), whose voicemail I was transferred to.
I seem to have gone from the person assigned to the case thru several layers of assistants to assistants, and zero communication of any consequence. In the meantime of course the buyer is getting skittish, the seller thinks I am not doing anything, and I am in the dark.
Any suggestions or experience with Bayview that may be helpful?
thanks,
Jill

Jill - do you have any idea if your file is a previous Etrade loan? Here is a contact of our's that was incredibly helpful, but he is limited to "previous Etrade loans". Richardduckardt@bayviewloanservicing.com. Might as well give it a shot.
I am in an identical situation. Original loan was with Bank of America, sold to M&T, now being serviced by Bayview. We have had a buyer waiting since NOVEMBER, and we can do nothing at this point.
We have been through close to 10 "contacts", and I was recently able to get our current contact's supervisor's information from a negotiator, also with Bayview, that approved a separate deal. I have been unable to make contact or have any calls returned by the supervisor.
The seller desperately needs this deal to be approved but the buyer is not going to wait around forever. Is there ANYONE with any sort of upper level contact for this servicer? This is outrageous.
Gordon,
I have been calling every number I can get my hands on, and leaving messages everywhere. I got the following email today (see below) and got a call from the person who told me they would call me "next week" three weeks ago. We did get MI approval and it has been submitted to investor, should be another 3 weeks.
here's the email, hope it helps:
