I just got this from Equator : Your request for a traditional short sale is denied due to the file failed QA .
Page 5 on the purchase contract needs to have zip code and the buyers name needs to have Jr. on every page , You would like to re initiate your short sale please contact Bank of America at 1 -800 - 669 0102 Thank you , Vanessa Woodley Loan Resolution Corporation Asset Manager Direct 1 -888- 387-0523 x 0560 .
So you try to call and ask why AFTER 5 MONTHS OF PROCESSING this thing no one could pick up the phone or send you a message through Equator that you need to add a ZIP CODE and no one can answer , They just say to start over .

That's a shame and it's always frustrating when things like that happen. I'd escalate to Bank Of America on grounds that LRC did not need to close the file out and that the corrections could have been made. Unfortunately this transaction will need to be put back through equator, but if it may move smoother if you can keep it in Bank Of America's hands instead of a 3rd party vendor. Also, if you have an escalation negotiator assigned from BOA it may speed things up as well.
