2nd - Citi Financial Charge Off

Is there anyone out there with experience, tips, contacts or just helpful advice?  I've got a 2nd Mortgage, Citi Financial Charge Off / Post BK.  I cannot get ANYONE to talk to me or return my calls.  I was told 2 weeks ago, the dept. was getting shut down, and replaced, to call back the 25th.  Still can't reach anyone who can help.  1st is FHA.  Pending Foreclosure Auction.............  oh and it's a $40K home ;)

  • I am having the same issue. I have a closing date on a short sale for March 11th and I have all of my lending lined up. BOA has the first loan and they have issued a signed contract but we are still waiting for Citi who has the second loan. My short sale negotiator is saying that Citi Recovery is making a transition and no one is communcating. I have 10 days until my closing, but still have nothing from Citi. Help! I cannot lock into a rate, or close on the 11th if Citi still has the loan. Any recommendations on contacts with recovery? Our negotiator says they plan on contacting corporate.

    • Kelly!  I finally was able to reach someone.. a dialed the regular Citi # and had them WARM TRANSFER to a representative in Charge Offs.. It worked, I got a Recovery Processor! Woohoo!

    • Kelly.. have you made any progress with your Citi Recovery file?  Do you have any helpful #'s, as I am stuck!
