Has anyone worked with Webster Bank?  I'm getting ready to start a short sale with them.

Thank you.

Yes, once an FHA

Yes, easy to work with, just closed one where Webster had a $160K second and accepted $10K to release.  They were actually faster and more reasonable than the first position lender, GMAC.

Mark, My client has a $40K second with Webster and I've been dealing with a Loss Mitigation Manager there who has been unable to assist me. Would you happen to know anyone else that mey be able to help me (i.e Escalation Manager)? I appreciated it.

Yes, they were very easy to work with. I had a great guy on their end. We had a first and HELOC with Webster, and they ended up 140,000 short on the HELOC. I have to say, the foreclosure process was stopped when we received an offer, their SS negotiator is assigned the foreclosure file to be sure it is stopped, he/she has total control in that respect. I took the price down after a month or so on the MLS, and kept bringing it down, documented this, etc. I cold not have been happier with the outcome and the ease of which they worked with me. Best of luck, I think you will do just fine once you get that offer in. I worked with Brad Tobin by the way, he is fantastic!

Can anyone provide me the short sale department phone number. Much appreciated.
