I'm in the process of selling a condo and found out at the last minute there was a lien from Citibank on the title for a equity line the other two owners knew nothing about. The person tied to the loan declared bankruptcy and was removed from the title, but the lien only in his name apparently stayed. I called Citibank, but they won't discuss the loan with me because the person that declared bankruptcy has loan authorization. that person can't be found. I need a legal contact at Citibank,c does anyone have one? Thank you.

The person on the loan filed for bankruptcy 2011 and his debt was discharged including the Citibank loan. That person doesn't want to help in any way.

One possibility (and to be honest, I am not sure it will get you very far) is to have the current owner's attorney contact the Citibank attorney listed on the judgment.
