Contact information for somebody in the GMAC Short sale department that can make things happen?

I never thought I'd have to ask this for a GMAC short sale, but a situation has come up where I need to get in touch with somebody as high up in the ranks as possible in the short sale department.

Anybody have a good contact that can make things happen? I've never had an issue with a GMAC short sale in over four years until now. I'm having flashbacks of the old Countrywide Short Sales from back in the day and don't want to flip out.

Thanks!

Thanks Jen!

Sharon is the one to start with since I just found out she's the manager of the Executive Offices and can put what I have to disclose in the right hands of the person that can take care of the situation.

Much Appreciated!

Paul,

Did Sharon respond to you? I need to escalate a file as well. I didn't know who to start with.

Thanks.

Rita,

Yes... she did and multiple managers are on the situation right now.

However, the situation I needed to contact somebody as high up as possible is not an escalation issue and much more serious in nature that I can't even openly discuss on this board. (Serious enough that e-mails were responded to late last night their time, early this morning and followed up with a phone call about an hour ago.)

I would suggest you call the Escalation Dept. at (866) 924-8409 first.

I appreciate that suggestion.

Escalation department has done nothing for me - they actually seem pretty helpless.  I hated to do it but this morning I sent an urgent message to Sharon Robinson because my "Close Date" in Equator says 9/4/12 which is of course the next business day because of the holiday.  Since no one could tell me what that date means I am kind of desperate so I sent messages to everyone above as well as Sharon...This is a lagging HAFA sale that has been stalled since July (mid).  Thanks for the contacts and I'll let you all know if one of these contacts worked for me.  P.S.  I did apologize on my email for contacting all of them but felt it was needed due to timing.  Hopefully they are not all out of town for the holiday!!

Jen Hill you are my hero!!  Thanks to your help I was able to resolve my "stuck file" this morning.  I emailed Sharon in the executive offices and gave her a bullet point synopsis of my story.  Within two hours I had a response from her and literally 30 minutes later I got the approval letter!!!

Awesome - another Short Sale Superstars SCORE!!!

YEAHHHHH!!  You're very welcome!  Glad I could help!  :)

I used Jen's e-mail list and within the hour I had a reply from the negotiator. I copied her in on the e-mail I sent to her superiors. After three weeks of no action, today I get an e-mail that the BPO is expired and that more documents need clarification and of course more check stubs and blah, blah, blah. Oh did i tell you this is coming after a counter offer above what the bank countered 3 months ago.

The seller had a foreclosure defense attorney settle for a full release and the seller is only going through with this as a favor to me and the buyer. If he decides 'enough', then the bank gets ziltch and no recourse. I've told GMAC this and they still act like they have the upper hand. Idiots.

I just took a short sale listing yesterday where the homeowner has been in foreclosure since 2008 - they filed for Chap 13 - and it was dismissed on 8/31/2012 as they could not make the payments.  Homeowner was not aware of the imminent and pending sale date of next Weds, 10/3/2012 until I took the listing and informed them.  GMAC will not speak directly to me without Third Party Authorization which they state will take 3 days to process.  GMAC's "Relationship Manager" tells the homeowner that they cannot and will not postpone the sale date yet GMAC's letter of 9/10/2012 to homeowner states they want to help the homeowner with a "workout solution" with all the forms for short sale attached to the letter.  A three-way call isn't possible as my client works 12-hour shifts in the recovery dept of a hospital.  I have emailed Sharon Robinson and the [email protected] pleading for a postponement.  I have also faxed a request to GMAC's attorney for postponement.  I doubt I will have an offer in time to postpone the sale date.  The seller is military and desperately wants to do the right thing with a short sale.  Do any of you have any suggestions for anything else I can do to postpone the sale date?  Thank you!

Hi Janie, if your seller is ACTIVE military and you can prove it (copies of his orders or verification using his social), then you should be able to reference the Service Members Civil Relief Act (SMCRA).  If active duty, the bank MUST stop the foreclosure, I believe up to 6 months.  Maybe check and see if GMAC has a Military Assistance Team that could help?  Good luck!
