I am in desperate need of any advice, other than wait, for a final HUD approval on an Aurora Hafa approved file. As per the Aurora letter, we needed to send the final HUD to Aurora for approval 72 hours early. We did so on 6/26 for Coe on 6/29.

Called every day for approval update when the phones and systems went down on 6/28. On 6/29, no approvals provided because "system" was moved.

We tried everyday this week with Nationstar but the files are slowing uploading.we are told possibly as early as Monday next week but could be 7/11 before its done. We need someone to say ok to HUD so we can recod and distribute.

Any any ideas or guidance? Called escalations on down and no answer. Sent emails to management no answer. Unfortunately, seller doesn't have the Nationstar acct number (they threw away) so not sure if Fannie can step in. Is this a huge issue? Approval good till 8/16 but buyer was ready to close last week.

Thanks much!  I will try this for sure.  The main phones have been shut down but I'll definitely see about this route.  Deeply appreciate!

Helena, I'd like to hear about how well that team helps you, i may need their services to stop a sale soon.

You bet!  I will.

question, when is transfer dt, and why did you have to go thry Aurora for HUD Approval? why not Nationstar?

Hi officially, transfer happened on 7/2/2012.  Aurora's approval letter stated must be sent to closing officer at Aurora.  I don't think they knew at Aurora of what was to happen the last week.  No one was notified that Aurora did not have the means or intentions of approving any HUDS on the last week.  We did our due diligence to ask about the potential for this to be an issue and was assured not to worry if done by 6/29.  Nationstar would not have had any files before 7/2.  Now it's Nationstar and the staff have had very little direction or information on how to correct any issues such as this that came up...

Contact HAMP escalation team at www.hmpadmin.com.  They are dealing with many of these Aurora Bank issues.  Be sure to send in the Case Escalation form and third party authorization that you find on the website under "Trusted Advisors".  Good luck!

Hi Sharona, Thank you so so much for the information!!!  I truly appreciate!  This has been a bit of mess.  Will update on what happens.  Helena

I was in a similar situation; had an approval with aurora then it was sold off to nationstar. Call this number: 888-811-5281, they just asked me to send them the old approval letter, hud, and purchase contract and were able to send me back a nationstar approval within 24 hours. Note that this was for a loan owned by private investors.
