Tax and 3rd party liens

Question....

Is there a way for me to quickly look up tax liens and 3rd party liens against a property?

I do a search on the clerk of the courts site.

Won't the preliminary title report show those items?  We usually have the title company pull all recorded documents on the property.

Prelim here in California with my Title Co. I use in every deal..
