Ok , So ive been working this shortsale here in sacramento california for close to a year now. Where do i start? This SS is a fha loan. One loan with BofA. Appraised by the bank. And with an approved price. We have an Excepted cash offer with two backup cash offers as well. Slam Dunk right? WRONG. My frustration level is over the top . THE PROBLEM IS: The negotiator assigned to the file name is Wimberly Corker. Since january i have not heard from him,( not even once), i have not recieve a single email, i have not recieve a single phone call. I mean its like everyone disappeared on me. Hear it is June1 and five monthes have passed without speaking to a negotiator AT ALL. Ive called and email his supervisor with still no responce. Ive esculated the file several time with no responce from anyone. Every time ive esculated the file , i left urgent messages with NO SUCCESS. I called two weeks ago to escalate the file yet again, and was informed that the file has been assigned to a different negotiator by the name of Heather brownly. GREAT RIGHT? WRONG YET AGAIN. I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD AND THING FROM NEW NEGOTIATOR, NOT A- email, call, text, facebook post, us mail, wine bottle in the ocean message, not even a carrier PIGEON message. Now, Original buyers have now walked, but one of the backup buyers have steped in with an even higher cash offer for the property.DOes someone have a contact to a top exec. that can get something done. Ive never seen anything like this before.

I totally understatnd where you are coming from! I have been having major issues with Bank of America FHA files. I suggest reaching out via TWITTER help@bankofamerica i also have been working directly with HUD NAtional on one of my files...i emailed in my third party auth in and am now able to folow up on the negotiator work progress with my file.
hang in there...i'm sure you will get more advice!

read some the other replys . A couple people left numbers or emails for me to call "feel free to use them". But to answer your question ,no, i dont have any personal contacts.

If the negotiator has done nothing for "20 business days", the SS rep can give you his manager's contact info and can request status. Usually, I have received a useless email from the negotiator a day or so after contacting his manager - like asking for docs that he has had for months. You must not be calling in or you would have gotten that info.
Of course, him sending a "I'm here" email means that BofA's FHA clock starts again and the negotiator cannot be bothered again for another 20 business days. I cannot explain why BofA's FHA department is so laid back, they just are - running on Brigadoon time.

I agree that they run way too slow. I have been in contact with the ss department and have done escalation upon escalation....gets me nowhere. 3 weeks ago, I got her manager on the phone and he agreed to have the negotiator start working on it but today, June 4, nothing has changed. Everytime I call, they want to know if I tried to contact the negotiator! Have been emailing and calling.....escalating...nothing.
