This is a HELOC where the seller is deceased and we have a Personal Representative standing in for her.  We received 1st approval from GMAC on 5/16/2012 where they agreed to pay 10% on a $48k loan balance.  The file is in the Recovery Dept because it was charged off a couple of months ago.  I learned from the Recovery Dept on Friday that the file would be outsourced because they discovered it is in probate and so I was told to wait for their call in the next 3 days.  I followed up today and Recovery Dept tells me that the file has "not been assigned yet" and to wait for their call.  After explaining the urgency (buyer frustrated, approval from the first expiring, etc), I was transferred to a supervisor and got her VM where I of course left a courteous message asking for her help with this problem.  My question is, does anyone have a good contact person inside Recovery who I can go to for help in getting this file expedited?  As always, thanks for your help!
