I will be dealing with Green Tree for the first time. My seller has only one mortgage and it is now handled by Green Tree (originally Litton). I will be submitting a A-RASS, since the primary investor is Fannie Mae. I am doing this as per FNMAE standards, because no one from GT can tell me how to apply or get the forms for their HAFA short sale. On my last call to GT, the foreclosure date is June 5. I do not know how true this is. The sellers have been delinquent for 365 days, and during that time, they applied for a loan modification, which was approved. The loan mod still was not affordable to them. Short sale is now their route to get out of this financial burden.
I listed and sold this in one day. Closing this is another story.
Has anyone dealt with GT for a FNMAE HAFA? I will appreciate your comments.

Easily the worst lender that you will deal with. Good luck. Please let me know if you have any success or have any names of upper level people.
I have a short sale similar situation. All I can find out is that the file is under review with a negotiator. See if you can get any info by calling this number.
Short Sale Dept. 1-877-816-9125 option 2.
Keep us all updated on the progress and give any info to help me too.
