After submitting a complete, fully labeled SS package in January, they are still not moving forward. They constantly ask for what they have been sent via email, fax and emailed to specific 'relationship managers at their request. The holder of the 2nd lien (SLS) agreed to a settlement of $3000 from Ocwen (much less than the 6% Ocwen allows) and gave a deadline of April 4th. Ocwen refused to honor that after being told week after week. ... Any solutions anyone can think of? ... so frustrating.

Hello Jane, the same happens to me, i started this SS back in December 2011, but week after week they are constantly asking for more documents, any update on your file?
Jane,
my last short sale with Ocwen closed on September 2011. I don't know if my advice will be relevant for you.
I had delay that lasted more than a week with final HUD-1 approval. I was ready to hit my head on the wall out of desperation because the customer service was telling me to fax the HUD-1 again and again and again. I then emailed Joanne Perez on Friday, she replied to me Sunday and my HUD-1 was approved on Monday. She solved the problem immediately. I was exstatic.
