This is my second go round with Ocwen and it has been a challenge.  I will say that the Joanne Perez lead I found here got a quick response and things moving -- THANKS! I am being told by everyone at Ocwen they will not postpone a foreclosure auction for ANY reason.  Every other lender I work with will.  Has everyone here had that same answer from them or is there a way around it?

@Thom - not a bad idea, but I'm not sure I want to waste the $11. ;^)

We should all buy one share of "OCN" for $11.00 - then we become shareholders and they would pay more attention.....

Ron Ferris' number is at the top of this page.  I started calling and leaving messages at that voicemail box and within 2 hours I had a call back from someone in his office and in two weeks I had my transaction closed.  I had been calling and calling India, over and over again and getting nowhere.  It doesn't matter how many times you call, you get the same person, the calls are routed via loan number.  Call the Ron Ferris number and get help!

@ David - unless they changed their policy within the last 3 weeks, this is BS. All Ocwen short sale calls connect you to India. I suppose it is possible that so many people demanded to be transferred back to the US that the value of the operation in India may be in question and they may be trying more aggressively to hold onto all the calls that come in. Ocwen is based in the us and they definitely have a Loss Mitigation department over here. You might have to just hang up and keep calling until you get to someone who will transfer you.

I am on hold with INDIA right now.  They inform me that there is no way to transfer to any office in the US and that there is no office in the US to help with the short sale.  Can anyone offer up a phone number!! or anything!!

@ David Sordelet - Julia is 100% correct. DO NOT deal with the people in India. Insist on being transferred to the US. They will try to ask you questions and keep you in the loop - thank them for trying to help but that you are tired of wasting your time and you want to be transferred.
Comment by David Sordelet on April 4, 2011 at 6:20am

I will give that a try.  I contacted the Ombudsman's office today, while on hold with India.  No answer, just had to leave a message.  I will call them back and see if I can get sent to the US office.

Thanks
