David, when you get on the phone to India, tell them you must be connected to their U.S. office. I once went to their Ombudsman's Office for my question (didn't get a good answer, but you can always try.)

I had an approval from OCWEN to close a sale at the end of last year, NOV 2010.  That buyer walked over the counter offer that the first lien holder (Saxon) came back with. OCWEN is the 2nd lien holder.  On January 20, 2011 I got another offer on the property.  SINCE November, on their own, OCWEN has renewed my approval and  advised that all the wanted was $3,500.

The most recent approval was set to expire on March 31, 2011 and the new offer that was just accepted by Saxon, is set to close no sooner than April 15, 2011.  I have been emailing and calling OCWEN every day since March 15, 2011.  I am unable to get an updated approval to close.  I waited on the phone today for 2 hours and 20 minutes to speak with a supervisor.  NEVER GOT TO SPEAK WITH HIM!!  We are dealing with INdia.  DOES anyone have any suggetions or contacts that can help.

Like everyone else, I HAVE TOO MUCH TIME IN THIS TRANSACTION!

Just want to give you an update. Closed this short sale yesterdat,

My short sale negotiator Jesna was very cooperative and pleasant to deal with. Once I was able to make contact the approval followed rather quickly.

Thanks again, Debbie.  Ron Ferris is the one I called. So I hope it'll now work!

Just want to give you all an update. My short sale is closing in a few days.

Ocwen is the 2nd lien holder. After contacting Ron Ferris' office, the negotiator has phoned me to give me updates. She explains that she is not allowed to send me an email but she DOES phone. The issue is when I phone Ocwen, getting through is difficult. Therefore, when I email she is not allowed to email back but she DOES phone! I wish all of you good luck!

Ron Faris is the best! When I email him, the negotiator calls me within 1 hour. Amazing! Thank you all for the info. My short sale will now close.
