I signed a contract for a short sale purchase 6 months ago and the seller of the home submitted a short sale package to US Bank.  I cannot contact the bank directly because I am a buyer, however, I am told every day that the seller is still awaiting a decision from US Bank.  Is there a limit to how long US Bank takes to make a decision.  I did all that was asked of me, including getting a commitment, but everyday I expect a decision and none has not been reached.  I know the package is complete.
