Here is my situation. The house I am interested in has been vacant for the last 15 months. Seller is not making payments for this time. There was a buyer for the SS and it took BOA 9 months to approve. By the time BOA approved, buyer cannot afford it anymore and walked. The home is scheduled to be foreclosed in late Nov. (home is in San Bernardino county in CA) but i believe BOA might postpone it.
I put in an offer early this week.

Q1. Given that BOA has once gone through the paperwork, how long to expect before I hear anything back?

Q2. The info. BOA has from the old file is 12 months old and home values are very different today. I have made an offer based on today's value. Will BOA look at the current situation or fall back to the year old info?

thanks
SS

The will start from scratch. It should not take as long as they have streamlined their process. I have been seeing 4 to 6 week times from submission to acceptance and rarely see 8 weeks turnaround times any more. Getting the foreclosure postponed is your biggest issue
It will not take as long but they are going to need all new information from the seller. They will do a new BPO because of the length of time. As for the foreclosure that depends on BOA. They have also started streamlining those too. Is there a listing agent involved? That would be your best source of information.
