Basically they are saying due to the length of delinquency they want a full pay off. the value is 80k our offer is 100k and the balance is 220k. They want an offer closer to 220k

@nicole, what is owed on the home and what is their value? Are they saying this is a full payoff? What is the reason for denial?

I have a chase conventional that they are basically say no to a short sale and want a full pay off. we have an offer 20k above their determined value. Anyone have any contacts at chase? They are saying chase is also the investor. Help!

It's tough to find out exactly why QC is denying files. At times it is the buyers, seller, or agents being blacklisted. You likely won't be able to pinpoint it as servicers typically won't disclose it.

Does anybody have some insight into why Chase would be refusing to work with specific agents or companies? Our files get hung up in the QC review and then they come back and say they won't work with a particular buyer, then the buyer's agent/company, then 2 different listing agents with my company. We have 2000 agents in our company which is part of a large national franchise. I have no clue as to what's happening and we have successfully closed many short sale including those with Chase.

Approval is in QC queue.  Sale date is scheduled for Next Tuesday, the 6th. I want to make sure this thing doesn't go to foreclosure sale date. Contract to close is for the 12 or so I believe and we had it in before finding out about the sale date.  We could close this Friday 3rd if Chase would allow it.  We're in South Carolina a Judicial state.  The rep says that the judge has the right to cancel the sale. But I know the Chase attorneys can make that call. According to the seller, when she called the attorney they said that Chase makes the decision, as I would also assume.  I'm just wondering if they would have any benefit to NOT cancelling. Any advice or contacts are welcome. Thanks.

This was a USDA loan. I thought we were in the clear but we needed some corrections made and they didn't give us even a 24 hour turn around time.  Got those in last night.  The seller said that the attorney for chase said its up to the negotiator/short sale dept to make the call to postpone the foreclosure sale.  So I'm wondering if I need to be ready to escalate within chase/equator. We have a negotiator on the file and they are "submitting for approval" according to them, but we needed to change a few things and initial them. We learned about it yesterday and the negotiator said she needed it by the end of the day.  I had it in after their work, last night so it's waiting on them this morning. Hopefully they will not make it an issue but I feel I need to go ahead and double down.  Any suggestions?
