FHA. Appraisal done 3/23; BPO 3/11. Still no ATP. Have a contract. Should I go ahead and submit with estimated Closing Doc? Should I go ahead and assume owner occupied $3,000 even though I don't have ATP. Seller relocated do to job trasnfer, so he is here some times and Adult child is living there.

more than likely it's not wells fargo using ocwen. just a servicing transfer more than likely. not as common today as it used to be.

I sure hope that's not true. The last handful of Ocwen short sales I've done were handed in India.

Two Agents in Kansas City area that have had WF shorts in the last few months told me WF is using OCWEN to service their short sales!

Say it ain't so!!! omg! WF was on of the easiest of all the banks...now...OCWEN?  REALLY?

I'd laugh if I didn't feel so much like crying!  =/

Hello,

Does anyone have contact information for the person that replaced Randy Saffel?

We've been waiting 2.5 months for an extension on a short sale approval letter.  Wells Fargo asked for one updated document after another and 2 weeks ago said it would be another 14 calendar days to get it approved.

We're now at the 16 calendar day mark and they're telling us that they're running it through as a "new short sale approval" so it will take up to 30 calendar days instead of 14.  Huh?!  The HUD DID NOT CHANGE except for the closing date :p

We already have someone from the escalations department "helping" us with the file and they've been there the entire 2.5 months we've been waiting, but they don't seem to be "helping" it go any faster.

Wells has been telling us 2-3 more weeks repeatedly for 2.5 months now...

Is it a good idea for us to escalate the file further up the chain to Randy Saffel (listed above) or will that do more harm than good? The buyer is very anxious and we don't want to lose him.

Just an FYI .... Randy Saffel is no longer in the short sale division, which is awful, because he was wonderful to work with. I'm so upset to see him gone. :(

For now, Owners are working a settlement with the 2nd which is United Guarantee. I thought the 80/20 loan originators were penalized and offered principal reduction from the lender like BofA,
