Can an agent represent a relative (brother) who is buying a short sale and get a commission? This is a Fannie Me short with Greentree. I read the Fannie Mae arms length and it is only referring to buyer or seller receiving commission.
I have an agent who is submitting an offer on my short sale listing and the buyer is his brother.

From my experience this is not an issue. If you are concerned have it closed on an addendum. The arms length is in regards to the sellers potential relationships with the parties involved.
