If anyone has current, contact info for escalations/management, please message me.  SLS is the 2nd - approval from 1st.  1st is HAFA, so SLS is getting $8500.  I have been getting the run-around, everything from "can't find the LOA" to a promise to escalate.  They have ALL of the documents, and up-to-date, that they could possibly need/want.  At this point, I need some additional help by someone in a position to provide some real help.  Time is ticking away on our BOA approval (1st). Argh!

Thank you, thank you!

Kristy try [email protected] I got a call back within 24 hours and my file was reassigned to someone who took care of things.  Good luck!

I agree with Jimena. John Beggins is the CEO of specialized loan servicing and his email can act as an escalation line. Is the SLS lien in their recovery department by chance?

7/2/14, I sent an e-mail to the CEO's office.  Within 3 hours, I had a voicemail message from SLS.  The following day (7/3/14), I returned the call to SLS and was told that the loan was submitted to the investor the previous day (7/2/14) and to call back if I don't have the approval letter by Monday, 7/7/14.  I called him back on 7/7/14 to let him no that I had not received the letter but had to leave a voicemail message.  I called him back on 7/8/14 and had to leave a voicemail message.  I called SLS short sale and was told that the loan's expected decision was 7/9/14.  Today is 7/9/14 and nada.  I called and left another voicemail message for the individual assigned from CEO's office.  No returned phone call/e-mail/letter.  :  (

Brett, the file has been in the Customer Resolution Department.

Just to follow-up:  this file has closed!  Yes, you heard correctly!  Another successful short sale AND foreclosure avoided.  It took a bit longer than I thought to finally obtain the approval letter.  There was a last minute snag, though.  The 1st was HAFA which is $8500 to the 2nd.  The 2nd sent an approval letter for $6K.  The 1st wanted SLS' approval letter amended to $8500.  SLS would not give us a new letter.  So, the 1st gave $6K to the second instead of the $8500.  The parties had to sign a contract amendment recognizing the fact that the 2nd would only get $6K instead of $8500.  Silly, huh?  But, done.
