Been hearing from sources that some brokers have found a loophole in getting around both. Anyone?

There is no going around hubzu.
The property will have to be listed 3 times before rejection from hubzu then file is returned to Ocwen
Its better to attempt 3 times then fighting with Ocwen

Not true, we have successfully opted out of hubzu.  It is not easy and not always guaranteed but it can happen, Have one right now that is opted out and another we are working on.

Hi Jeff -  I also heard that sellers could opt out of hubzu.  We marketed the property 11 months and finally obtained a Buyer.. so not interested in hubzu.  What is the process to opt out?.. any hints or direction would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks.

I'd like to know how they manage.  I fought for almost a month but finally relented. Then it took them nearly another month to upload it, but once the auction ended with no other bids within a week they sent the closing package.  However, as a note, we were told it would definitely go to Ocwen after it closed; instead there is a clause that states they will decide within 24 hours if they will accept it or relist it.

Personally, I am refusing any future short sales with Ocwen and NationStar until they stop requiring hubzu and auction.com.

Hey ro

Just wanted to advice do not deal with relationship managers at Ocwen they know nothing about short sale call the SS dept they are knowledgeable and helpfull

I guess by now you know what I m talking about
List th property and you get 3 attempts if no buyer bids viola the file is getting sent back to Ocwen. Fight and escalating trust me is waste of time
