Has anyone had any dealings with Dignified Transition Services (DTS). What is their role?

I have worked with DTS on many shot sales and found that they are very good to work with.  They are a third party working with the servicer and I have found that the transaction goes quicker and more smoothly and they call you on the telephone!!  You shouldn't have any problems with them.

They are a third-party vendor which has adopted the unfortunate name of a funeral home. I have worked with them in the past when I received them as an assigned vendor in Bank of America short sales. Then, they got aggressive and petitioned agents to sign up on their website and to direct potential leads to them instead of opening the file in Equator, with the implication that they would send more short sale leads to the agent. I know of an agent who sent them a lead and closed the short sale but never received any leads in return.

I've had good and bad experiences with DTS, people who return calls and those who do not, just like with any other third-party vendor. I will say that DTS seems to try harder, and for that, they get bonus points.
