Chase has a department that actually will review evaluations. The best thing to do is call into customer service and state your issue and that the negotiator will not listen to reason and ask that you be connected to that department or that someone contact you! Why pay for an appraisal if you do not have to. You may contact me directly [email protected] for another solution.
Yes, just order appraisal and then get a letter from buyer agent or buyer stating they're not willing to pay more than appraised value. Then send appraisal to negotiator with letter.
Even though it is a cash offer, why not order an appraisal?

Camille, accept the offer then use the buyer's appraisal to dispute the value. Lender's won't finance more than the property value so when you show that value to the lender they will usually see the light.
Does anyone have a good way to dispute a valuation Chase did on a property? The number they came back to me with is insane. We are against the clock on this and any advise is appreciated. I was told last week that they are closing many of the Chase Short Sale locations and the files are being transferred this week which I am sure will make it even more fun to get a response.
Does anyone have a list of allowable closing fees for a Chase Freddie MAC Loan?
A warning....HOA/condo disclosure fees were denied and the seller's relocation credit can not be used toward any fees.
After having a few horrible experiences with Chase I recently had one go extremely well in spite of delays with buyer's financing. Freddie Mac. Offer was right at appraised and it was accepted without a counter. Not an overly long wait. Negotiator on this one was excellent and closer Cathy C. went above and beyond in thoroughness and promptness to my requests. It's amazing how some reps can be so professional and others make it clear they don't have time for the file or feel like working it. Seller even got the $3,000 relocation credit.
866 233 5320 is for the chase securitized loan department, typically does the trick. If not call OOP.
