We have a new Freddie Mac Short sale listing.  Can anyone tell me if it will be a hindrance to have a home tender in the home.  The seller/borrower has had to move over 2,000 miles away as his wife was transferred for her job.  The home tender is taking care of the upkeep on the home, the yard maintenance and paying the utilities.  We can't find anywhere in the Freddie Mac guidelines where it addresses a tenant occupied.  You valuable input and advice is appreciated! We have been using home tenders for the last 3 Years. They are hired as contractors, absent tenants rights. In the contact we spell out their required responsibilities and obligation to facilitate the realest sale.Occupied, staged homes, with manicured yards and swimming pools that have not turned green, sell faster and at a higher price. The seller's lender prefers the subject occupied and secured. The house sitter program has been a useful tool in our short sale business.

That would be a dream, not a hindrance. The property is taken care of while it's on the market and should make your sale a lot easier.
