Isn't Dave Sunlin heading up Safe Guard now? Msg him thru LinkedIn

Brenda - That is what I advised - call the police, certainly. It was my listing, someone else's buyers. The laissez-fare attitude of the Safe Guard Properties is ridiculous.

Wendy, your buyers need to beware.  There could be a trash out scheduled next.  I'd also call local law enforcement, and a locksmith, and maybe a lawyer.

Bank of America just had locks changed on one of my listings that SOLD a month ago. The buyers cannot get in. The property preservation company said to contact Bank of America, there is nothing they can do, since they just do as Bank of America orders.

Brad, last ditch effort - you can often get a postponement until the next cycle by contacting the bank's atty. They are often sympathetic to needing an extra couple of weeks - laws often make it expensive (stupidly) for banks to postpone things but atty's can have "practical" delays with no consequences.

I have also gotten a local judge to delay the sale by a month - could have been longer.

Jessica, they have their rules - just do it. You can argue with them for 5 yrs, won't go anywhere. It doesn't have to make sense. WF recently rejected one of my MLS listings because the house was not listed for enough - listed too low (for about 2 yrs at $240K and HUD rules say it must be listed at $260K - is that really smart if you can't attract someone for 2 yrs at $20K less?).

What's the best way to get the sale date postponed with BoA? This property has a sale date set for next Thurs. but will most likley be a regular sale. Thanks in advance for any advice!

File submitted 3 months ago for HAFA, now servicer is corresponding and is saying that he can not get to approval stage until we submit a Listing addendum with the amount bank is setting forth which is $15,000 more than what we have had it listed for. Listing Addendum? We have had this submitted now for a few months and with an offer. Why is this surfacing now? Any suggestions or advice? Anyone experience this before and what did you do.. Thanks

Easiest way is to put the $400 on
the buyers side and bring a check to closing for $400. I'm a closer too.
