If you read my other post you know that this has been going on since January 24. Long story short, the file was submitted, the loan mod department pulled it, had to get it resubmitted, I got the run around, Chase transferred it over to their modified Equator system, etc.

The negotiator called last week on the 5th and said we needed to do a counter and if I could get it to him ASAP he would submit to the investor (Fannie Mae) to get approval. He said "I should have an answer for you by the end of next week" (meaning 3/15/13). So I got the addendum, the new HUD and sent it over... via fax, email AND Equator. I have called every day since the 6th and have not gotten a phone call back. I finally talked to some other customer service rep this morning who told me that the negotiator has been out sick for the last few days but in the same breathe said that the negotiator sent the file to the investor on MARCH 12?? Why ask me to rush the addendum and HUD if you are just going to sit on it for a week? How did he submit if he was out sick??

Anyway my point is.... anyone have an idea how to go straight to Fannie and get this expedited as Chase is lacking in communication skills and apparently in their version of Equator it takes them ONE WEEK to get any uploaded docs and/or messages. Why use Equator then?

Any help would be appreciated. Buyers have indicated that if they cannot open escrow by the 22nd they have to move to another property to ensure their end of April close that they need.

Thank you!

Hi Erinn, we've escalated a few times directly to Fannie by calling their Resource Center and requesting to speak with someone in Level 2.  Sometimes it helped, sometimes not, but it's always worth a shot.  Good luck!

Thank you I will try that as well.

Erinn;

I've closed 3 Short Sales with Chase in the last 2 weeks.

All 3 had to be escalated between 1-2 times each before written approvals were issued. Chase is struggling mightly with their transition to Equator.

Prepare your complaint in 50 written words or less then ESCALATE your file immediately by calling the regular CHASE SS CSR line and ask for the escalation department.

This will work! GOOD LUCK!

Thank you! When I called this morning I asked for the escalation department and the gal said "let me check the notes on the file" and then went on and on with all of the above. Also said that she could not locate a phone number for the negotiators supervisor.

Calling again now.

YES the Chase CSR tries to be helpful but you must navigate past that to be transferred to the escalation department then get an escalation ticket #.

If NO JOY repeat the excercise 48 hours later.
