Ask them if I can pick one up at the Jax office, I'll fax the sticky papers to you

@Ellen - The Green Tree junior lien "collector" said she would not use the Green Tree senior lien package and would MAIL me the package. When I asked if she could fax it , she stuttered and said "NNnooo. THe papers stick together."  Obviously, she is trying to keep the file in collections LONGER. Then she said she is having a problem with my client and it will be a WASTE OF EVERYONE'S time because he is not making his mortgage payment. I am thinking, "Wow, how unusual for a short sale seller to NOT be making his mortgage payment."  :)

I'm dealing with them in Jacksonville now. Got the inside story from a former employee. Interesting. They should be shut down.

Don't ya just love Green Tree's collection department as your first encounter to help someone short sale? The tactics, oi vey.

Jana Reyes, this short sale packet listed here is not current. Do not use it, the phone/fax numbers on this packet are not correct either. Call Greentree's short sale department, (phone number above is correct) and ask for one.

I made the mistake of using this one and sending it to the fax number listed. They never got it, had to start all over again.

I'm closing a short sale with Green Tree next Tuesday. I have to say that they have become better to work with. Finding the right negotiator to work is very important.

Does anyone know if the Greentree Package here from May 2011 is still current?

Green Tree is a collection agency. Are you expecting compassion or assistance from a collection agency?

I hope I'm doing this right...

I am taking on a short sale with GT as the servicer.  The house has a serious mold issue.  Any chance I can get GT to participate in the mitigation?
