Paola, FHA short sales are a nightmare with B of 1a.  Keep calling the office of the President to escalate the file.  FHA files are worked out of Florida and you need to get your negotiator's manager, and the manager's manager to get things done.  I had a file that took 9 months to obtain an approval.  If I ever get an FHA file I will escalate from the beginning.

Anyones else having a hard time with escalations??

FHA short sales seem to be EXTREMELY inefficient. I am experiencing extreme delays as a seller's agent and as the buyers agent on other FHA short sales. I have escalated to management directly, through their short sale escalations line, through Twitter and even a ticket with HUD and when HUD steps in BANA is barely doing the next step and then they stall and tell HUD that "they are working on it". This morning I reached out to everybody and their dog in upper management including the CEO's office. BANA has been doing great on Equator but theres a lot of room for improvement with their FHA short sales. Im extremely disappointed. I have always looked up to BANA as a company whose management cares and resolved concerns in a timely manner. Now Im not even getting a response back.

To all getting messages from BoA that your short sale loan is being sold : Do not panic. Work on your file as you were. I am closing on BoA short sale next week. On the same short sale I have been receiving messages for three months telling me every month that loan is being sold. And every month it was supposed to be 19th. Weird, right ? It was nover sold. I am not saying that it does not happen. I am just saying- do not give up.

BofA is selling off portfolios.  Mine is due to sell by 3/19.  Right now they have us with REDC which is a problem for me but trying to hold their feet to the fire.  I'm in the same state.  I would hold them to get things done right away.  BofA is stating that if we have approval then that may pull back the sell off.

Working shortsale, was with investor and then out of the blue get an equator message that the loan has been sold back to the bank and file must be closed, how is that possible, what are my options, foreclosure hearing is not until 3/20/13, any suggestions?

Alex - I have used that e-mail as well.  Amazing response!  Good Luck

@Alex send an email to Kathleen Robinson email below at OCWEN you will get results within hours...i had one last week that is OCWEN serviced and BOA investor and my file has gone from I dont know the status to in underwriting for approval and closing before 3/15 within 2 days!  [email protected] detail your issues in the email you sent also send to [email protected], my issues were primarily with the negotiator as he was a totally clueless idiot (sorry) but he could never tell me exactly what they wanted and consequentially we missed deadlines, its a long story...good luck keep me posted

Hi, guys - having difficulty with a short sale I've been working since November 2011 for a file backed by Bank of America National Association (serviced by Ocwen).  Does anyone have contact info for escalating to BANA?  Would the social media team be of assistance here or are they only for BOA serviced files?

Comment by Keji Ogunleye on February 16, 2013 at 2:48am

@ Thom.. exactly.. I  think REDC are purposely delaying the process, that's why I'm trying to escalate on BoA side.. We have cash offer ready to close.. Sorry Wendy I don't agree to the auction process when I already have a cash buyer.. why should the buyer have to pay extra because BOA signed agreement with REDC..

Comment by Wendy Smith on February 15, 2013 at 10:58am

I am currently working my first auction.com transaction in which I am the listing agent - I have to say it is going pretty smooth.  Maybe Keji might want to be proactive and engage Auction.com before he loses everything to a failed short sale.  Just a thought.
