I did. My short sale was with Citimortage 1st and 2nd..until 1st of July we heard that now Carrington would be new servicer as of July 21st, 2012. You DO KNOW that Citimortage sold off about 150 to 250 million dollars of their portfolio to Carrington, don't you??? Well if u didn't, you know that now!!!
Anyhow,,, Carrington did a great job in approving my short sale in 48 hours! I WILL look forward to dealing with them many times over...and Citi was awesome in helping some with some nasty problems on the 2nd lien that they charged off to a collection co. Sometimes Goliath does help David.. LOL Go figure!
That sounds promising as my clients were told this afternoon that their loan was sold to Carrington. Was your's a HAFA short sale?
