BOFA can't find loan number?
Hey guys I have a 2nd with BOFA equity line and filled out the package ready to email in. I called 1-866-413-3757 to make sure I can email it. They can't even find my clients loan number? They tried to call another dept that could find it, but they didn't pick up the phone now they made a request to mgt. which takes 5-7 business days to just find my loan #? lol anyone else have this issue with them? I got a wells 1st which is going through equator which as been smooth so far, but right out the gates this one one is having trouble. It's a 14 digit loan #.

Yeah I gave them the ss # as well, she could't pull it up because she didn't have access to looking up by that method?

Use the twitter tool...they WILL be able to help, I am quite sure. They have helped me a few times and have resolved every issue that I have suggested others to contact them about. Good Luck!

Ask the seller when the last payment was made. If I remember right if it was longer than 3 months they will charge it off and it will be in their recovery department. Also ask the seller to provide you with the last statement of this account that should help you with contact numbers and the actual department the account is with. Remember if the account has been charged off you will have to deal with the recovery department and not the lender. I know confusing....good luck.
