They currently have a waiting list. You have to call them and have them email an application to you.  Tel 855-594-6170

Dignified Transition Solutions is offering to assign agents to new HAFA eligible short sale sellers if they currently don't have an agent.

@Katerina I totally agree with you BofA has gotten a thousand times better and it's the easiest of the big banks to deal with.  Chase would come in a close second and could probably beat them it they would at least using emails, but both of them are making great improvements to get short sales approved faster and while not every transaction is going to go smoothly I think getting them approved in under 60 days, 30 days for Chase is outstanding.

I think BAC is making improvements and striving for better communication. They have a great escalation system compared to some (no notes in file for 30 days required at owb the last time I closed one -green tree can't even go there most awful, yet). Katerina I love the comparison, so true;) I asked an escalation negotiator how many files the "average" BAC negotiator has...300-500. CRAZY. Escalation negotiators have around 100-150. It was all clear to me at that point. At least with BAC we can e-mail... Call and have a they evenhave decent cs# that barely has a hold time! I'm gonna appreciate the small things today;)might be because I got 2 approved with them this week!

You have to be kidding. The best bank? I have worked with them for years. I will contain any other comments.

@Cathy Baumbusch- I don't know how long you have been doing short sales but 48 hours for a negotiator to try to get back to you is very good. In 2007 most lenders were saying don't even try to reach them before 30 days from faxing in the short sale offer and package. Closing a short sale in 2007 and 2008 in 6 months was a miracle and was considered super fast.

In 1980's regular sales took at least 4 months to close because there were no cells, no email, no fax, no computers. If you were a buyer, you had to wait until the bank had a committee meeting to go over your file.

Bank of America is the best bank right now to do a short sale with. In your comment you said that your files were opened in March. Well, it is only the middle of May. That is a normal time frame.

The negotiators have piles and piles of files on their desks and they do not HAVE to do short sales. They can just as easily turn short sales down and go to foreclosure. Heck, most of the time, that is easier.

Makes sense, Sameer.

@ Kathy Twitter is the only public feed everyone sees. So anytime you go that route, the BOFA team is in place to handle it. It's an attempt to be pro active on these things while they are in the spot light. I went to twitter on my deals and they respond within an hour or so.

Jean, I wondered if Twitter really was successfu.  It's worth a try.....thanks.l
