My short sale has the first TD with BOA and a second TD w/HELOC BOA. which is serviced by Greentree.

We have had all the experiences you have..no call backs..only will take 5% or nothing..After many months trying to work this out...I contacted the CEO of BOA.  Within hours I got a phone call and they will assign a "Sr" short sale negotiator who can work with both departments.  I am to have an answer within 48 business hours.

Hope this info helps some of you.

Hello Ann,

Can you share BOA CEO Information with us? I am still one month away from the trustee sale, in my case green tree want 25,000. We do not have a problem giving them 5%, but we do not have 25K. Thank you for sharing! :)
Hi Mayra,
Actually here is the BOA contact in the CEO's office:
Sumedha Chhabra at 800-669-2443 ext. 2773. She is in CA.

I emailed the ceo at [email protected]

In my case BOA owned the loan and GreenTree was the servicer.
Good Luck
Ann
To get it done with Greentree, call their corporate office in St. Paul Minnesota, - 651/293-3400, and ask for the operations manager in your state. Get their phone and e-mail address and CONTACT THEM. We did this and had an acceptance letter in hand less than 24 hours later.
I'm just starting a short sale with Grenn Tree as the servicer for the 2nd TD and I had a question, when you did your short sale did you still have to use Equator for the the short sale or was this done when B of A didnt require you to use the new system?? Also did you have success for them approving or reducing the amount going to the 2nd TD? Please let me know thanks!!
Hi Ben,

I have a similar situation with Green Tree. The 1st is with BofA and the 2nd is with Green Tree, a 2nd TD/HELOC that was charged off in February apparently. The 1st has been approved and we're offering Green Tree 5% (or $4,100) to settle in full and approve the short sale, they want $13k which the sellers do not have. The sellers don't have any money, they can't even pay their bills. I have already spoken to Chris Poorten a few times and he is no help. I also called the corporate office and spoke to the California operations manager and she could not help. This is a non recourse loan, I can't understand why they're playing hardball like this? The sellers are telling me that they will have no choice but to foreclose. Can you help?
