Cathy, I'm not why you are having the difficulty you are with Chase, mine closed in 75 days from start to finish, I had a "motivated" 1st TD negotiator and I stuck to my clients/sellers best interest during the negotiations, I also received FULL release of liability on 1st and HELOC 2nd TD. The 2nd TD IS a separate dept. but 1stTD negotiator will communicate with them for you and provide approval letter from 2nd TD. These are 2 separate approvals you need in writing, 1 from 1st and 1 from second TD,each will list terms and respective loan #. When I faxed Chase the "FULL' package I received a call the same day from a set up person. I submit a FULL package, follow up with the right dept. and I ask the right questions. If it is taking 10 months then there certainly is a problem with the approach maybe, I don't know I'm not involved in your file.
Also, see Terry Parish's lates blog herer on Chase today, see had good success with Chase.
Good luck,
Bryan.

Question about that. The approval letter I got only had the first trust account number on it. The settlement company is not accepting it saying it needs to have both account numbers on it. Is anyone else running into this?
Amelia,
not sure whart is going on. I had to go thru 1st TD negotiator on 1st and 2nd TD. 2nd TD negotiator was actually rude and hung up on me. 1st TD negotiator really had an interest in getting the deal done and actually escalated file, a week later we had our 2nd TD approval. Let me know what happens. I wish I had a good contact for you. just keep trying.
Hey Bryan.. I have same situation. But, the negotiator -after giving us approval isn't returning any calls or emails. Title needs some documentation that the 2nd lien is release so they can record.. I have also reached out to the supervisor/manager.. and no help from him either. what's going on at Chase?
