Just started a Short Sale w/ B of A

We just put an offer on a property with Bof A being the lender. We had an another SS offer on this property last year in the old B of A system ( if you call it that) and B of A closed it, go figure.
I understand that as the buyer now I can request the ability to call the SS service # to be able to receive status of the SS.
What else should I be looking for to stay after this process.
