"Justin, Did you work a HAFA short sale with them as a second? I realize that they say that they don't participate in HAFA but may accept the HAFA conditions such as $6k payment and no deficiency. What was your experience?"

NEW HAFA CHANGES

One of the HAFA changes is that the junior lien holders will be able to get up to $8,500. I thought that this change, along with the others, went into effect on June 1, 2012 but a review of the Directive says that this change goes into effect immediately. (Page 18)  Is this solely at the discretion of the negotiator? Has anyone had a junior lien holder to get $8,500? I have a short sale that may hinge on the $2,500 difference.…See More

Rita Cox replied to Cricket Yee's discussion Stuck on negotiations with Chase on 1st and Real Time Resolutions on 2nd-- HELP!!!
"Thanks Bryant. With the price point being so low, RTR will only get about $4k no matter what program the seller goes through. At $35k, there is only so much to go around. But it is good to know that someone has dealt with them before with some…"

Rita Cox replied to Cricket Yee's discussion Stuck on negotiations with Chase on 1st and Real Time Resolutions on 2nd-- HELP!!!
"I have the same basic situation - Chase is the 1st and RTR is the 2nd. The house was originally purchased for $125k but will now sell for about $35k. Chase is considering the seller for HAFA which would work better for RTR because at least they will…"

"Never heard of them but there are plenty of companies out there that sell leads.  I would never pay for leads like this, especially when you could most likely do the same thing they do for free.   "
