"One possibility (and to be honest, I am not sure it will get you very far) is to have the current owner's attorney contact the Citibank attorney listed on the judgment."

"I understand , but the BK was probably a ch 7 and the discharge does not wipe the lien from title on. Citibank will have to get paid something to release the lien. All parties to the loan have to sign off on any short payoff or authorization. You…"

"The person on the loan filed for bankruptcy 2011 and his debt was discharged including the Citibank loan. That person doesn't want to help in any way."

"At the end of the day you will need to find the person who has their name on that loan. They will have to authorize any short payoff etc. Citibank legal department  cannot not really do anything for you."

The person tied to the loan declared bankruptcy and was removed from the title, but the lien only in his name apparently stayed. I called Citibank, but they won't discuss the loan with me because the person that declared bankruptcy has loan authorization. that person can't be found. Inverstor - Hudson City

I just received news on my Citi Bank short sale that the investor is Hudson City and it will take 2-3 months for a response from them... Is there anyway to expedite the process? Does anyone have any contacts at Hudson City.Thanks, RickSee More

"4% from Citi for same agent. 5% for dual agency same broker"

"It depends on the investor (owner of the loan). If it's Fannie Mae, they are supposed to pay 6% regardless."

"I am working on a dual agent sale with Wells Fargo. It is written into their Realtor Short Sale Guide that the max is 5%. I would imagine that every lender has their own guidelines."
