My Profile: I have been a Realtor in the Saint Petersburg/Tampa area since 1999. I am also a licensed Mortgage Broker. I have been working short sales for many years, but obviously the volume has gone up and success rate has gone down a bit. I am mystified at how inefficient the process is and feel it is the major cogg in the wheel of a housing market recovery. Despite the frustration I share with many associates, buyers AND sellers, I will continue to "connect" with whomever I can to get that one more morsal of information I may need to successfully close a transaction and help my market, the buyer, the seller, oh yeah...and the lender!
