Yes, that is the correct number to use now. Just verify when you call that you are speaking to someone in Short Sale Support.
Yes, most of my short sales are (and have been) for investors. That is part of the reason I was asking about deficiency judgments, because they can be a BIGGER headache for an investor since the ss lender can come after them for the balance if not shown as paid in full. I have been advised by my Broker to tell ALL my ss clients to seek the advice of a tax attorney.
Also, I am typically able to get them approved, but it takes determination and TONS of phone calls!
