When I returned the call I was happy to report that we had a short sale breakthrough only an hour before! A very high level manager of Pulaski Bank called the seller directly to apologize for the resisitance and offer cooperation with the short sale. WOW! I guess the letter sent to the CEO was received and read! It was a stab in the dark but when we found the CEO's name online we thought it was worth a try so we sent him a plea for help. Yay! Derek was awesome to speak with and said I could call him back if things went sideways again in the future....

At 3:49pm on November 13, 2010, Jana Reyes said…: Yes! That's the same bank! We are looking for a manager above the short sale division. The negotiator we are dealing with will not escalate! The negotiator has said that he wants to foreclose or force the 1st to foreclose so that his bank can buy the house at auction. These are shocking words considering the CEO of the very same said in a press release that his goal is to avoid foreclosure and to show compassion to distressed homeowners. This homeowner is jobless and going through a divorce - pretty distressed in my opinion! Thank you, thank you for responding!
